Position Overview:


The Executive Chef will lead all culinary operations for this high-volume, upscale steakhouse, overseeing pre-opening and ongoing execution. This individual will be responsible for building and developing the BOH team, establishing systems and standards, and ensuring consistency across all aspects of the kitchen.

This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, seasonal environment and is comfortable managing both the creative and operational sides of the business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all pre-opening efforts including hiring, training, ordering, and kitchen setup
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing BOH team
  • Execute a wood-fired and charcoal grill-driven menu with consistency and precision
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations including ordering, inventory, scheduling, and cost controls
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness
  • Collaborate on menu development, with flexibility to draw from proven concepts within the group
  • Maintain strong leadership presence during service and uphold a culture of accountability
  • Adapt quickly to changing business needs in a high-volume, seasonal market


Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Executive Chef or senior culinary leadership experience in a well-rated, industry-leading kitchen
  • Strong background in upscale, high-volume, or steakhouse-driven environments
  • Proven experience with openings or major concept launches preferred
  • Deep understanding of kitchen operations including ordering, scheduling, and cost management
  • Influential, team-oriented leadership style with a passion for training and development
  • Strong attention to detail across food quality, preparation, and presentation
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
